Our History
Tiny Steps Learning Center opened its doors in 2016 with one goal: to offer high-quality, personalized care that truly meets children where they are. We designed our program to be both thoughtful and playful — blending responsive, developmentally appropriate practices with intentional structure and a personalized approach to support every child’s growth.
Since then, we’ve grown from a single center with room for 30 children to three locations serving up to 180 families across Paterson. Our growth has been guided by the same values we started with: being a safe, welcoming space for families, building strong relationships with children, and always looking for ways to improve.
We embraced tools like Brightwheel early on to strengthen family communication, and we continue to invest in innovation — from the Experience Curriculum in the classroom to automation systems that help our team work smarter. Tiny Steps is still evolving, but our commitment remains the same: to create a nurturing environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to grow.
